BUYER BEWARE!
Watch out for the Headwaters rods. They are nice rods, but only if you can repair them yourself or find someone local to take care of it. I returned one with a broken ferrule after the owner told me he would replace it. That was 6 months ago. Many promises were made of the replacement rod shipping next week, tomorrow, next month, etc. but the replacement has never come. I finally asked for my old rod back, and since then my emails have gone unanswered.
Thanks for commenting A.D. I haven’t talked with anyone there in quite some time. Do you have any other recommendations for bamboo fly rods and blanks?
Based on this comment, we adjusted the Bamboo fly rods page, and removed that merchant. There were other issues, but this one was the clincher.
