I've put deer tails, turkey and pheasant feathers, squirrel tails, rabbit hides, and a whole red squirrel in the freezer. Put 'em in zip locked freezer bags with the air squeezed out of them. The package doesn't take up too much room, and you just clip off what you need for what you're going to be tying.
