This part sandal, part thong hybrid offers great support for long distance walking on uneven terrain. Featuring a sturdy Vibram outsole and the BioCentric polyurethane footbed contour, your foot feels stable and supported in the Chaco Hipthong. Chaco earned the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association for the underfoot support provided by the BioCentric contour. It not only stabilizes the heel and concentrates the fatty pads underneath the heel for better natural cushioning but it also supports the foot underneath the arch, placing it in the neutral position to encourage a healthy stride. The Chaco Hipthong’s soft polyester straps feel comfortable between the toes from the start and the instep strap with cinch buckle provide the secure fit absent from standard issue flip-flops.
