Preparing for the 2008 Fishing Season

Ok all.

There was 3 things I didn’t do enough of in 2007.

1.) Kayaking

2.) Fishing

3.) Blogging

We’ll see what we can do about that this year. I make no promises, as life and work, as always, have gotten more complicated. Gone are the days of being in college. Actually, long gone are those days, now that I think about it. I got out of school fifteen years ago.

I’m going to try to check in once a week on the blog, and kayak fish twice a week. One weekend day, and one week night.

My new office is a scant 5 minutes from the Black Creek/ Genesee River park, so it should make for some good evening fishing.

In the meantime, I’ll try to blog a bit about what I’m doing to prepare for fishing this spring (UV proofing the kayak, etc.)

I hope to dip the boat in the water in March for some scouting, or maybe even some Spring run trout fishing. We shall see.

So you guys get your crap together too. What do you do to get ready? Let me know below.
